Coach Fulmer is a gentleman and a scholar, and will truly be missed at UT. Having been a fan for over 30 years, I will always remember the highlights of the Fulmer years. I hope the person who replaces Coach, will have the integrity and personal respect that we are accustom to as the VOLNATION. Please do not hire John Gruden, he is not what we need, I have seen him in action and he is not what we need. THe only thing offensive about him is his mouth, we do not need him in Knoxville let him stay in Tampa until they fire him for coming up short.

I completely agree its unfortunate that we had to be fed a line about a resignation. Coach Fulmer obviously denounced that phrase in his press conference. He was obviously forced out which was not what I wanted but, in listening to coach Fulmer it was evident he was not leaving on his own anytime soon. And although it was hard to see what he had to go through I think it is time for fresh blood.

I am glad to see a change at the head coach position. I wish it would have been done differently. I hope that Fulmer does well in his next endeavor. I have lots of respect for him and will keep his autograph on the shelf of honor.

The decision as to the future coach of the Tennessee Volunteers will definitely set the tone for the next ten years of Tennessee football. They better shell out the big bucks!

Well said. I wish Coach Fulmer well in whatever he chooses to do. I hope the next UT Coach has as much passion for the game, the players and the University as what Coach Fulmer has shown in his tenure as the Vols leader.
